What is the Breeder Directory?
The Breeder Directory on Pets4Homes is a list of Council Licensed and KC Assured Breeders. Council Licensed breeders hold an Animal Activities Licence issued by their respective local authority after a series of checks have been carried out. The KC Assured Breeders have been inspected and certified by The Royal Kennel Club.
How can I be added to the Breeder Directory?
Please note that you will only appear in the Breeder Directory once your first advert has been approved. This is a safety precaution to make sure we are satisfied with the quality of listing before a breeder is added to the directory.
In order to appear in the Breeder Directory, you must first upload your council-issued licence or KC Assured Breeder certificate.
Once you have uploaded your licence (and it has been approved by our Trust & Safety Team), you will be able to fill in the details of your Breeder Directory profile. Go to your account details, scroll to "Breeder Profile" and fill in your information. Click the button to confirm your changes, and you should now be able to find your profile in the directory!
How many breeds can I list on my profile?
Today, you can add three breeds to your Breeder Directory profile. If you advertise more than three breeds, please choose the three which you most regularly advertise.
