PawCover protected payments

Bringing a new pet home is a big moment, and we are here to help you do it with confidence. For peace of mind, we recommend getting your pet with PawCover protection so you and your new family member are covered from the moment you pay to your first six months together. When getting PawCover your payment is protected when things go unexpected.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Summary

Protected payments are part of PawCover. When you transact through Pets4Homes, your payment is held securely until you confirm collection, so if anything changes before pick-up, you're covered. And once your pet is home, our six-month health guarantee means that if anything unexpected happens in those first months, PawCover steps in to support you.

PawCover only applies to transactions completed through the platform.
Whether you paid a deposit or the full amount through Pets4Homes, you may be eligible for PawCover protection and its associated benefits.
  • If you pay and then don't receive your pet (for example, if the seller backs out) you'll receive a full refund of your payment.
  • Sometimes things happen that aren't anyone's fault. If your new pet becomes critically ill within six months of coming home, you may be eligible for a refund (Terms and Conditions apply). This also covers situations where a pre-existing condition that the seller was or should have been aware of is clearly affecting your pet's quality of life.
