My messages are not being sent to the seller
There are a few factors that can result in your messages not being sent to the seller you have contacted via chat. Here are a few examples:
- The details in your message contains blacklisted information.
- Your IP location is on a blacklist, for example if your country has been identified as a common place from where scam e-mails are sent.
I received a chat notification but I can't see any new messages
Sometimes you might receive a notification via email or push notification that you have a new message but when you go to Pets4Homes chat, there are no new messages showing. This is likely because the user who sent you a message deleted it before you could read it.
Reasons a user might delete a message include:
- A buyer changed their mind about purchasing your pet
- The pet is no longer available so the seller deleted their reply
- A user sent a message to the wrong person by accident
If you already have a chat open with the other person, you can send them a message to check that everything is okay. If a user deletes the first message in a conversation with you, there is no way to reply back to them so you can skip that user and concentrate on other conversations.
